My journey into the professional design world started in early 2000. I moved home from college and started working for my home-town newspaper as a print designer and writer at first, and later began designing for the web. During my time at the Citizen, I have won numerous individual design awards, along with many awards shared with fellow staff.
In 2004, I married the love of my life. In 2008 we experienced the best thing that has ever happened to either of us when we became parents to a beautiful and healthy baby boy. Later that year, we packed up and moved to Marathon City Wisconsin where my husband found a job that he truly enjoys. Just this past summer, we found our dream home and have been living here since August.
During 2008 I was aslo diagnosed with an incurable disease which restricts my ability to work outside of the home. Because of this, I decided to try building my freelance clientele base. I now have clients from Minnesota, Wisconsin and even England!
I love working with people to meet their promotional goals. My extensive work in newspaper advertising design has given me a great background in marketing, for businesses both large and small. When my clients don’t know what they want, or how to get their point across, I love taking the creative reigns and bring their ideas to life!
